Peculiarities of National Migration from MkDocs to Hugo

Not long ago, the documentation for VK WorkSpace products decided to migrate from one static site generator — MkDocs, to another — Hugo. I’d like to share my impressions and the hidden pitfalls we encountered. We’ll discuss which of these tools is better suited for Enterprise products, and which one works best for startups. We’ll also have a look at where a technical writer has more opportunities to develop both the portal and their personal skills.

And of course, we’ll play a round of bingo to compare the two generators and their technical capabilities.
