Content on Autopilot: Strengths and Weaknesses of Template Solutions

  • 20 min

According to the Pareto principle, 80% of result is achieved with only 20% effort.

We analysed what takes up most of the remaining 80% of an editor's working time and found ways to reduce the time spent on routine tasks. To achieve this, we categorised tasks by type, developed a general algorithm for working with content, and created variations of this algorithm for different types of texts. We introduced “text masks” — a collection of templates for various content formats: applications, instructions, notifications, mailings, and even landing pages.

All of this has enabled us to significantly reduce the time required to complete standard editorial tasks.
