I'll discuss how to organise interactions between a technical writer from a software development company and a testing laboratory during certification testing in accordance with FSTEC standards. We'll examine regulatory documents and the key processes that a technical writer should be familiar with. The goal is to make the certification process more visual and easier to understand, as well as to explain how to establish a shared language with the laboratory to simplify certification.
I'll also share my personal experience that will be useful for technical writers: the automation tools used by technical specialists in the laboratory, the path from a notebook to a code-based document, and BPMN notation.
