When Atlassian suspended sales in Russia, companies relying on Confluence for documentation faced the challenge of transitioning to alternative tools. My organisation was no exception.
Instead of merely migrating to a new platform, we took the opportunity to completely rethink our approach to documentation. This journey involved research, overcoming obstacles, finding solutions, and extensive teamwork.
In this talk, I will share:
- how we selected a new documentation platform,
- how we converted our content from Confluence,
- the stages of the migration process,
- the challenges we faced, and whether we are truly happy with the results.
