Over the course of more than two decades in the profession, I have had the privilege of working with dozens of remarkable people, tackling a variety of challenges, and looking at the development of technical documentation from different perspectives—whether as an inquisitive novice, a systematic researcher, an experienced specialist, a mentoring leader, or an external expert. In this presentation, I wish to share some models that I have created and utilized throughout the years to more confidently address the issues of assessment, profiling, and the balanced development of employees and teams.
