Designing a DocOps system and its lifecycle

  • 40 min

In the live example, we will design a DocOps system and discuss its lifecycle.

Let’s imagine that we have a product team, and we need to design a DocOps system for them.

We will start with requirements and move towards the final appearance and composition of the system, considering operational and modernisation scenarios. We will begin by defining the requirements for documentation formats, as well as the participants and their roles in document development. Furthermore, we will discuss the choice of markup language and the development pipeline. After analysing the requirements, we will propose a technical solution and discuss its implementation in detail.

Using the example, we will see what the designed DocOps system looks like and what it consists of. We will address the nuances that may arise during the operation of the DocOps system and suggest ways to resolve them to ensure smooth operation and convenience for all participants in the process.
