Sometimes, a company thinks about the Knowledge Management System (KMS) too late. For instance, when it feels like it’s easier to burn everything down than to save it. Or when there’s so much knowledge that traditional management methods no longer work. Or when the company has grown, and key knowledge is scattered across different stakeholders, making it difficult to “run” from one “source of wisdom” to another. Or when several key employees leave the company, and their knowledge with them.
And it happens that the KMS is formed but, for various reasons, fails to perform its core tasks. And you don't even know which situation is worse.....
In my talk, I will guide you through all the stages of organizing both external and internal knowledge bases. Together, we will go through the thorns to a united KMS. I will show you that it is never too late to create a single point of entry and build an accessible, controlled system that contains all the proven and useful knowledge for support.
