The talk is dedicated to developing documentation for product certification, with a special focus on the “Test Program and Methodology (TPM)” document.
The aim of the talk is to determine who from the project team: the technical writer or QA, will be responsible for developing the TPM. The technical writer prepares the certification documentation, but the tester knows the product better and has already conducted software compliance checks.
The talk will begin with a brief theoretical introduction to the certification process. Next, we will examine the potential pros&cons of both specialists in working on the TPM.
In my talk, I will share the experience of how documentation for certification is developed in our company and which specialist is involved in this process.
As a conclusion, the presentation will outline recommendations for effective work on the TPM document.
The presentation will be of interest not only to technical writers but also to testing specialists, and even analysts.
