Quick & worldwide: how we accelerated releases for 34 localizations

Our B2C mobile products are considered unique as they are distributed in more than 100 countries and localized in 34 languages. Probably, this is a high score in the Russian IT industry. Basically, there are quite a few products of tech companies that are translated into 10–20 languages. But each of our flagship apps is translated into up to 34 localizations. And of course, if we did every single localization for a release from scratch and didn't optimize it in any way within our Doc&Loc Group (documentation and localization), then perhaps there would be no records.

My name is Nikita Avilov, I am a technical writer in the Kaspersky Doc&Loc Mac & Mobile group. Let me tell you exactly how we organized the workflow within the team and cross-functional interaction with our colleagues from other departments, so that we prepare an app for a release with that many localizations with less effort.
